The creative team of Close Act Design lean on many years of experience in creating and shaping large-scale street theatre performances.

For years, this company wanted to immortalize their art and install it on streets or squares.

Since 2020 they started to create new material for urban spaces.

MOVING BENCH

Slide and select your seat!

A colourful bench in a building, a square or in a park. In a curved line are seats on a rail who can slide left and right.

15 seats make 4 couples, 4 singles and a group of 3 people who want to sit together. Can I have this blue seat because I would like to sit next to my girlfriend. Can you step into the blue seat and give me the green one?
We all know this from a theatre or a film house so it’s not that difficult. Just slide them on!

THE ODDITY

This big puppet is a statue and a playground for children. The Oddity creates a large-scale performance almost by itself.

Imagine children climbing inside the right leg and sliding down on the left. Climbing up into the body of this oddity to look down at your friends or even to move his eyes. Two swing sets at the bottom moves his head up and down, left and right and with ropes you can manipulate the arms. And, on Saturday evening you can push a button to light gas flames coming out the top of his head. On a far distance you see this giant puppet coming alive and you realize our children are having fun.
