“We performed at Zwarte Cross with full awareness that its parent company is now owned by investment giant KKR — a firm known for profiting from systems of inequality and exploitation. In response, we chose to transform part of our fee into a gesture of solidarity: a donation to ‘Plant an Olive Tree’ in Palestine. Art should not only move people, but also plant hope.”
