Passionate, powerful and seductive
Red-hot stilt dancers use large fans to seduce, frighten, bewitch and impress the spectator. Both men and women are dressed in light-hearted and at the same time vigorous long dresses.
Proud and powerful they defy, high above the crowd, the eager eye of the audience. Confusion sets in when the guessing starts; are they warriors or seducers, are they fierce or only teasing?
In a parade they are possibly supported by an impetuous platoon of (stilt) drummers wearing the same forceful dresses in black.
impressive fan dance
Parade followed by a short choreography combined with singing. A dynamic parade through the streets, in which the drum workers work up the fan dancers with a sturdy rhythm. This parade ends on a central performance area. After this powerful antrance there a short rest. Tape music starts. The dancers show their impressive fan dance, in which power and control are characteristic. The performance ends in a whirling climax, after this all performers leave in parade.
With acrobatics and object
A singer appears hanging of a crane above the performance area. She makes contact with the ground spectacle and decreases between the dancers and drum workers.
The crane lifts the object with acrobats high into the sky, the acrobats perform a breathtaking show of body control and acrobatics. The performance between ground- and air spectacle ends in a whirling climax, after this all performers leave in parade (high elevated the object turns away from the performance area).
Dancers, percussionists and a singer flying over
ActRed can be performed in several forms.
Powerful choreography (approximately 5 minutes)
This short, but impressive act is an audience favourite. Particularly suitable for a spectacular opening or finale of a festival or event.
A minimum of 4 fan dancers perform a powerful dance on tape music, if desired accompanied by live musicians. The act is frequently completed with a singer who performs a song inspired on Mongolian singing. This singer, also dressed in red, can appear on a mobile object or even float above the audience suspended underneath a huge helium balloon.
Choreography in combination with acrobatics
(approximately 20 minutes)
Particularly suitable for a spectacular opening or finale of a festival or event. A minimum of 4 fan dancers perform a powerful dance on tape music, if desired accompanied by live musicians and a singer. The act is combined with a structure hanging in the air at a crane with acrobats doing spectacular air works. At the same time there is action on the ground. This act can rightfully claim being a spectacle.
Parade
A parade exists of at least 6 fan dancers and 3 musicians (on stilts). The act can be extended to a maximum of 12 Fan dancers and 5 drum workers. The drum workers use acoustic drums, creating a combination of rhythms.
A combination of a parade with the stage act is a possibility!
EXTRA
By night a fire player with hand flares can be added. The hand flares create a magical lighting for the spectacle
The stage act can be expanded with a singer singing a Mongolian song.
The singer can appear on a mobile object or a crane.
For a more dramatic effect the singer can appear as a moon goddess; suspended by invisible ropes she hangs from an enormous helium balloon at a height of 5 to15 metres. The balloon is controlled by 3 crew members from the ground and is lit from within.
There is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 fans dancers.
The parade is accompanied by 3 to 5 musicians. The musicians use Acoustic Drums; with these instruments they create a combination of rhythmic percussion.
